LGBT Teen Anti-Prom at New York Public Library - in Photos

On June 3rd, the New York Public Library hosted an LGBT "Anti-Prom: Super Prom" on June 3 at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building in Astor Hall. For added festive fun, guest were invited to dress as their favorite superheros from comics and graphic novels, inspiring some sick tributes to Aeon Flux and Paris is Burning.

On June 3rd, the New York Public Library hosted an LGBT "Anti-Prom: Super Prom" on June 3 at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building in Astor Hall.

"Teens who may not feel welcome at official school proms or dances because of their sexual orientation, the way they dress, or for any other reason," were all welcome to attend, according to the NYPL.

For added festive fun, guest were invited to dress as their favorite superheros from comics and graphic novels, inspiring some sick tributes to Aeon Flux and Paris is Burning.
