30 pictures of what Pride looked like 30 years ago
In order to know where we're going, we need to always remember where we come from!

If the past few years have taught us anything, it's that while the global LGBTQ+ community has come a long way when it comes tolerance and representation in all facets of life, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done when it comes to fighting for our rights to live and love as our most authentic selves.
While it's easy to put blinders on and focus on the road ahead, an important part of the journey is to look back on how far you've come. There's a lot at stake for many of us, but with the official start of Pride Month this year, now is the perfect time to reminisce on our roots! And these 30 vintage portraits of Pride '94 are a perfect way to do just that!
These stunning photographs capture the spirit of Pride season that was in the air throughout the entire month of June 1994 in cities like New York, London, Paris, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
Let's take a trip into Prides past with these historical photos from 30 years ago!
