On her MSNBC show Rachel Maddow feigns outrage along with Fox’s Todd Starnes’ real outrage over the official White House Christmas card, which fails to depict Baby Jesus anywhere in the photo, but rather shows the Obama’s dog Bo sleeping in front of a Holly and Ivy adorned fireplace.

And if it’s not enough that Jesus wasn’t anywhere to be found on the card, Starnes’ and Maddow –obviously faking—attack the card’s slightly secular text, which reads, “From our family to yours, may your holidays shine with the light of the season.”

Not one to miss an opportunity for press Sarah Palin weighed in on the Christmas card controversy pondering why the Obama card features his dog rather than “family, faith and freedom.” She added that Americans appreciate traditional “American Foundational values illustrated and displayed on Christmas cards and on a Christmas tree.”

Maddow then scrolls through a few Bush-era and Reagan cards searching for the Baby Jesus to no avail.

Here's Maddow in her own words.
