'Pretty Little Liars' Telling Secrets for a Second Season!

That guilty little pleasure with a lesbian storyline, Pretty Little Liars, has been renewed for a second season, ABC Family announced Monday. PLL stars mostly newcomers help give the show its Heathers / Mean Girls meets The Craft vibe including Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Troian Avery Bellisario and Shay Mitchell, who plays Emily, the character who’s been inching out of the closet more and more with every episode.

That guilty little pleasure with a lesbian storyline, Pretty Little Liars, has been renewed for a second season, ABC Family announced Monday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The series, based on Sara Shepard’s hit books premiered last summer with 10 episodes but last Monday’s winter premiere boasted a strong 4.2 million viewers, the series’ highest ratings yet, according to THR.

PLL stars mostly newcomers help give the show its Heathers / Mean Girls meets The Craft vibe including Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Troian Avery Bellisario and Shay Mitchell, who plays Emily, the character who’s been inching out of the closet more and more with every episode.
