Will Lindsay Lohan Get a Chance to Drop Her Soap?

Lindsay Lohan’s battle with the bottle has reached epic proportions. Lohan is now willing to risk jail time and even additional expense up in the hundreds of thousands just for a drink. Somebody please help her before it’s too late.  Rehab certainly didn’t work, guess jail is the only option left.

Lindsay Lohan’s battle with the bottle has reached epic proportions.  Lohan is now willing to risk jail time and even additional expense up in the hundreds of thousands just for a drink. Somebody please help her before it’s too late.  Rehab certainly didn’t work. Like the tack actor Michael Douglas recently took regarding his drug addict son, we’re thinking jail is the only place Lindsay might clean up at this point.

And the threat of jail time isn’t phasing the fallen star either as she was willing to either tamper with or consume alcohol while wearing a court issued SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor) anklet on Sunday night, ABC News is reporting.

It is still unclear whether the actress actually thought she would get away with drinking or if she, or someone close to her, attempted to remove the device. What is clear is that the monitor went off while she was at an after-party for the MTV Movie Awards.

Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, seems to be little help, actually admitting to TMZ that the device “indicated the presence of a small amount of alcohol.” Do you need to give the judge any more ammunition?

It appears that Beverly HillsJudge Marsha Revel has had enough of Lohan’s inability to follow the law and seems to be more than willing to send the actress to the slammer. Let’s remember that Lohan was fitted for the anklet late last month after she failed to show for a mandatory hearing on her probation related to an earlier DUI case.

Revel may have been pushed too far this time. Immediately following the report that the device went off, she issued a bench warrant for Lohan’s arrest as she ruled that the actress was “in violation of bail.”

And, because of the most recent violation, Lohan’s original bail of $100,000 was raised to $200,000.   Lohan’s handlers posted bail but her attorney is back in court today for a closed-door session with the judge.

Of course the actress is denying everything, she has been in denial since day one. This time she posted a message to her Twitter account saying “I did not violate anything at all. My SCRAM wasn't set off... It's physically impossible considering I've [done] nothing for it to go off. All of these false [reports] are absolutely wrong."

Lohan is not due back in court until July 6. Let’s see if she can keep herself out of trouble until then.  Sadly, my money is on NO. The saga continues…….
