Teen Wolf Movie Trailer Teases Allison's Resurrection...Or Does It?
See who's returning for the film and when it will premiere.
Teen Wolf is bringing us back to Beacon Hills with the recently released first trailer for the upcoming movie.
From the looks of it, Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and his friends have gone their separate ways following the series finale. But now they’re being drawn back to their hometown to face a new threat, complicated by the apparent resurrection of Allison Argent (Crystal Reed), who died in season three.
“Whoever or whatever is out there right now, it’s not Allison,” warns Chris Argent (J.R. Bourne).
A confused confrontation with Scott adds credibility to his claim, while visions had by her BFF Lydia Martin (Holland Roden) of her death suggest maybe Allison really is coming back to them. Obviously we’ll have to wait for the film itself to find out more about this mystery, but the trailer has fans itching for it already.
Posey, Reed, Roden, and Bourne aren’t the only ones reprising their roles from the popular MTV series. Tyler Hoechlin, Colton Haynes, Shelley Hennig, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, Seth Gilliam, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio, and Dylan Sprayberry were all previously announced as returning for the film continuation as well.
Notably missing from the returning cast are Dylan O’Brien and Arden Cho, after the former decided “it was left in a really good place” for his character and the latter said she was offered less than the other actors to return.
Despite being a fan favorite, Cho’s Kira had already been cut from the series prior to the final season, but Teen Wolf without Stiles Stilinksi is going to be an adjustment.
Still, we’re ready to see what the rest of the gang has been up to and have them get back together for one last fight when the movie premieres next year.
Teen Wolf is available on Paramount+, and the movie sequel will drop on the streamer January 26.
Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) will reportedly not be returning for the movie.
Teen Wolf ran for six seasons from 2011-2017. The movie continuation is expected in January 2023, with no plans for another revival announced at the moment.
