It's been a recent trend in the queer community to claim horrifying fictional monsters as gay icons. First it was the Babadook. Now it’s Pennywise, the clown from IT. (The two demons are dating, in case you weren’t aware.)
In the spirit of things, I would like to submit for consideration David Harbour as Hellboy.
Hellboy creator Mike Mignola tweeted a picture of Harbour in character, looking completely and totally badass.
All we can say is, David isn't a Hellboy. He's a Helldaddy.

You may recognize David Harbour as Police Chief Jim Hopper from Stranger Things. While he was fabulous actor in the role, we did not get to see his pecs. Now we do. And now we like him even more.
There’s no official release date for the untitled Hellboy reboot, but it’s expected to be released sometime next year. In the meantime, we’ll keep twiddling our thumbs until our red daddy makes it to the big screen.
