It's not jut the season but the year of the witch, and Katy Perry went all out with a theatrical homage to witches when she performed "Dark Horse" replete with pyrotecnics and a burning at the stake, and it was more interesting than any single moment of American Horror Story: Coven.
4) Kacey Musgraves Makes Country Cool with "Follow Your Arrow"
Relative newcomer Kacey Musgraves won the award for Best Country Album after this fantastic performance of her hit "Follow Your Arrow." It makes us want to go to that land of neon boots and cacti!
3) Carole King and Sara Bareilles Span Generations with "Beautiful/Brave" Mash Up
Legendary singer/songwriter Carole King teamed up with Grammy-nominated Sara Bareilles for a mash-up of King's "Beautiful" and Bareilles' "Brave." It's such a great passing of the torch from one killer vocalist and pianist to another.
2) P!nk Blows the Doors Off the Place Singing Live While Upside/Down!
P!nk steals just about every live show where she performs and the Grammy's was no exception. She did a wildly physical medley of "Try" and "Just Give Me A Reason (with Nate Ruess)" and sounded amazing while suspended over the audience. She's just one of a kind.
