Wanda Sykes, Courtney Love Lined Up for L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's 'Evening with Women'

"An Evening with Women," the big female-centric fundraiser for the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, is always a reliably good time, but this year's event at the Beverly Hilton should be especially hot. Not only is sexy singer/songwriter/producer Linday Perry co-chairing and performing, but her pal Courtney Love is also expected to rock out--yes, Courtney Love being 'confirmed' for anything is kind of an oxymoron, but here's hoping. Meanwhile, Wanda Sykes will be on hand to bring the guffaws.

Other stars expected: Kat Von D, the band Camp Freddy, and Samantha Ronson, who's DJing at the "high-energy" after-party (bring your glow sticks).

Tickets for the hottest lesbian fundraiser this season go for $300, but remember it's all for a good cause. According to a release from the Center, "'An Evening with Women' benefits the Center’s vital services for women and girls, including: food and shelter for homeless youth; services for seniors; legal assistance; domestic violence services; health and mental health services and cultural arts programs. Last year’s event raised more than $365,000 for these vital services."
