Comedian Presents Compelling Case That Friends' Monica Geller Was Bisexual
The Friends cast reunion special may be delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak, and people streaming endless amounts of TV at home while we wait for this to pass may be cursing the fact that Friends was finally pulled from Netflix in January, but just because we aren’t watching Friends doesn’t mean we’re not thinking about Friends.
In fact, comedian Eva Victor used this period of self-isolation to finally finish a video presentation compiling evidence she says proves Monica Geller was totally bisexual.
Victor, who you may remember from her quick turnaround parody of that Peloton ad, or her scathing takedown of straight pride parades, says she’s been working on this important contribution to pop culture history for two years.
“evidence monica is bi (i am bi so i’m allowed to do this) also i’ve been working on this for 2 years,” she tweeted on Friday.

Victor’s argument was compelling, and other fans were eager to submit their own additions.

Any Friends fan can easily figure out that Phoebe was almost definitely bi/pan, we all know about how Chandler and Joey were originally going to get together at some point during the show’s run, Rachel canonically made out with Winona Ryder at some point in her life, and now bi Monica has entered the fan canon. Really, the evidence speaks for itself.

Rachel Kiley is presumably a writer and definitely not a terminator. She can usually be found crying over queerbaiting in the Pitch Perfect franchise or on Twitter, if not both.
