Vanity Fair has come a long way since it published Christopher Hitchens’ screed “Why Women Aren’t Funny.” The magazine later published a cover story on “Who Says Women Aren’t Funny?” that featured heavy hitters Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Kristen Wiig, Sarah Silverman, Chelsea Handler and Sandra Bernhard to name a few.
Now, VF’s first-ever comedy issue features three different covers that balance out to the same amount of women and men. Cheers to the women who made the covers – Wiig, Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy, Poehler, Leslie Mann and Megan Fox.
