Lady Gaga revealed that she wrote an 80-page biography of Patrizia Gucci to prepare for her role in House of Gucci and fans are stunned.

Speaking with The Project, Gaga talked about her dedication to the film, which allegedly included staying in character for 18 months and hanging onto the accent she used in the film for 9 months.

“I lived inside of the character and inside this world of the Guccis for so long because I love art, I love the nature of the type of acting that I like to do, and I stayed with her so that when I was on set or off set, it was this fluid life,” she explained. “This is something that makes me excited as an actor.”

But Gaga dove into some homework before even getting to the point of trying out an accent or stepping into Patrizia’s shoes.

“I wrote like an 80-page biography about her myself,” she admitted. “And it was something that I worked off of and I read all the time to just get the story, her backstory, inside of me.”

Some doubted her claim or threw shade over what they perceived to be a ridiculous decision.

But other fans praised Gaga for showing up and doing the work, regardless of how they felt about the film itself.

At the end of the day, you gotta respect the dedication, and Lady Gaga is, and always has been, nothing if not completely dedicated to every choice she makes — no matter how insane it may seem to the rest of the world.
