'Old Taylor' & 'New Taylor' Go Head-to-Head in the '...Ready For It?' Music Video
Taylor is at war with herself.
Last month, the satirical publication The Onion posted an article titled, "Taylor Swift Unveils Even Darker Persona With New Single ‘Skullfucking Maggot Shit Boyfriend." I almost had a heart attack because I thought it was insanely spot on, especially since Taylor is trying really hard to rebrand herself as a "bad girl."
Well, Taylor just tweeted out the link to her newest video (which was just released last evening), and it’s definitely in keeping with Taylor’s said rebrand attempt.

The song depicts what can only be described as "Good Taylor" (or perhaps "Old Taylor?") dressed in all white fighting against "Bad Taylor (perhaps "New Taylor?") dressed in all black. The painfully obvious imagery is just that—painfully obviously. In the end, only one Taylor can prevail.
