Bleachers' eclectic new video for their single "Don't Take The Money" features a bruised Jack Anatoff and a whirlwind lesbian romance.

Directed by Lena Dunham (Girls), the surreal, '80s-tinged video stars Anatoff, the band frontrunner, mentally preparing himself for his wedding day with his mail-order bride. Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development, Search Party) begins to officiate the wedding in front of some very stiff guests before the bride's mysterious Russian lover shows up and quite violently objects to the whole ordeal.

Knowing Dunham, the video feels like some kind of commentary on overthrowing the patriarchy and spitting in the face of traditional and heteronormative marriage roles. In 2015, Dunham told Ellen DeGeneres that she wouldn't marry her boyfriend (Anatoff) until same-sex marriage was legalized.

"Don't Take The Money" is a single from Bleacher's upcoming album, Gone Now. Watch the video below.
