Superfine, a "woke" art festival coming soon to Seattle, presents LGBTQ+ artists, artists of color, and other traditionally underrepresented groups in full force.
Since its creation, Superfine has sold over $9 million in artwork from over 1,000 emerging artists at fairs all over the country. The upcoming festival "geared towards millennials" will feature more than 60 artists with 90% of works falling into the $75-$2500 range.

According to a press release, Superfine forgoes "the standard stuffiness found at typical art exhibitions" and is setting out to "change people's perception of the art world, the only industry that historically tried to keep customers out."
"When we looked at the art world as gay men in our 20s and 30s, we were excluded," said Superfine founders Alex Mitow and James Miille. "We built Superfine to be a warm, welcoming space where people who loved art as much as we did could collect it without barriers.”
SUPERFINE premieres at Block 41 in Seattle from August 19-22. Scroll down to see a small selection of the art.
