Halsey Defended Miley Cyrus Against Biphobic Trolls & We Have to Stan

"Stop being afraid of women who aren’t afraid to do what pleases them and not other people."

ICYMI, actress and pop singer Miley Cyrus and her partner Liam Hemsworth officially called it quits after eight months of marriage. The two have had an on-again, off-again relationship over the past decade, but recently, Cyrus was seen kissing a girl named Kaitlynn Carter in Italy over the weekend.

While celebs breaking up and getting together with others is nothing new, some super biphobic trolls took it upon themselves to blast Miley, who identifies as pansexual, for no reason other than to be awful.

Fortunately, bisexual popstar and outspoken LGBTQ activist Halsey was there to slay these dumb trolls.

"Stop being afraid of women who aren’t afraid to do what pleases them and not other people," she wrote to a Twitter user who was using the tired and offensive stereotype that bisexual people are sexually-greedy lovers who frequently cheat on their partners.

When another troll tried to call her for "not being bi enough" because she publicly has "only had relationships with men," the "Without Me" singer also took them to task.

"Bold of u to assume I haven’t been intimate with most of the women 'on my side,'" she wrote, alongside the shrugging emoji.

While it's super shitty that people still believe outdated stereotypes about bisexual people, it's cool that we have such badass people like Halsey to set things right.
