Tomboy Fashion: La Roux's Elly Jackson on Her New Album and Her Fluid Androgynous Threads

La Roux tells Vogue Magazine why she'll never have long hair again

Hey Tomboys,

Sometimes at the end of the night, I'll be at a bar and know its time to go home not when I am drunk, but when I am drunk enough to start humming to myself, "This time maybe I'll be-eee bullet-proof!" Little did I know that I was simply channeling my inner Tomboy fashion icon, La Roux's Elly Jackson.

It's been five years since that smash single and La Roux's Elly Jackson recent sat down with Vogue Magazine to talk about her latest CD, and what's at the core of her "reimagined style." Spoiler alert: It's fluidity. Jackson quips to the fashion mag that she feels like "a more constant being" when she presents in a more fluid way.

You can check out the entire, very fascinating interview with Elly and  Vogue here, complete with make-up tips, fashion insights and music chat: "LaRoux's Elly Jackson On Her New Album, Her Bold New Look, And Why She'll Never Have Long Hair Again."
