Weeks ago Marie Osmond professed her love and support for her lesbian daughter in an interview with Los Angeles radio station Kost 103.5. Last night in her interview with Mary Hart on Entertainment Tonight, her sentiments were the same.

Honest and upfront about a usually sensitive subject, Osmond could not stop praising love and reiterating support for her daughter, saying “I love my daughter, so what if she’s gay.

The Mormon mom also goes on to share her Christian beliefs on the issue. I think it’s sad when we have to separate something from society, whether it was, ‘Oh you’re Jewish years ago’, and then it was ‘Oh you’re Mormon,’ and ‘Oh you’re gay…’ it’s so sad that we have to segregate all these thing, the thing I want is love.”
