#Biweek may be over, but that doesn’t mean we’re done discussing the struggles bisexuals face!

Often times, people, and straight women, in particular, don’t believe guys when they say they’re bisexual. Doubters think bi guys are using the label as a stepping stone to being “full blown gay” or think bi men are simply confused. This makes it really difficult for bisexual men who want to be open about their sexual identity but are also interested in having romantic and/or sexual relationships with women.

So a question that we often hear from bisexual men is: How do I come out as bisexual to women in a way that they’ll believe me and want to date me?

While some women might never believe you’re “truly” bisexual, or won’t date you because you are bisexual, there are definitely some things you can do to increase the likelihood that women do believe you when you come out as bi.
