First the release date was moved from October 7, 2011 to February 24, 2011. And today the trailer for the film was released.
Don’t get too excited just yet...
Any sign of girl / girl scenes is pretty much scrubbed from the trailer.
With a plot that revolves around Linda (Jennifer Aniston) and George (Paul Rudd), a married couple that adopts the "free love" ideal when they wind up at a commune instead of what they thought was a bed and breakfast -- so much so that Linda winds up pregnant with no idea who the daddy is -- you'd think there'd be at least some mention of Sapphic scenes. There's a slight nod if you're looking but it's pretty subtle.
Watch the trailer below and tell us if you think the scenes have been totally scrapped, or if the studio decided to reward the viewers who buy a ticket to see Wanderlust:
