The trailer for Eva Longoria’s latest project, a comedy called Without Men, was released this morning, giving us a preview of the lesbian make-out scene the Desperate Housewives star shares with her co-star Kate del Castillo.
Longoria plays the mayor of a village in Latin America that loses all its men when guerilla revolutionaries recruit them against their will. The only man left in town is a priest played by Oscar Nunez (The Office). The women take over the unsavory roles that men fill in everyday society. Until an American journalist played by Christian Slater arrives in the town (and – to our disappointment – seemingly sparks a romance with Longoria), all sexual interplay is strictly ladies-only.
“It was a little difficult as the two girls are both straight so they were very nervous and laughed a lot,” director Gabriela Tagliavini told Fox News. “But I think that just made it even lovelier. [Female audiences] don’t want to watch porn, so it was all very sensual, both are very beautiful women aside from being incredibly funny.”

The movie is based on James Cannon’s best seller “Tales From the Town of Windows,” and will be in theaters on July 29 as part of Maya’s Indie Film Series.
In case anyone missed the last time Longoria was part of some on-screen girl-on-girl action, the trailer for Carlita’s Secret is below:
