Monday may become must see gay TV night for the gals.
With Pretty Little Liars being joined by the new SyFy series Being Human and MTV’s new show Skins, Monday’s shaping up to be the unoffical 'lesbian character night' on the tube.
SheWired has already been swept up in ABC Family’s addictive P.L.L. (Mondays at 8/7c). But Being Human and Skins, both remakes of beloved British series, tackle new television territories offering alternative views of sexuality.
SyFy’s Being Human (Monday’s 9PM ET) follows a vampire, a werewolf, and a ghost living together in one house and trying to retain some semblance of real human lives. Viewers will get to meet the werewolf’s sister, an out lesbian named Emily played by Alison Louder, in episode 2.

Meanwhile, the Jersey Shore shilling network known as MTV dropped a US remake of teen sex-sation Skins (Mondays at 10PMET/PT), met by much parental council grumbling and tepid reviews. The series, which promises to show the real sex, drugs, and emotional roller coaster of young gay, straight, and bi life, has the complete first episode available to watch and review for your self right now:
