Sara Gilbert and Julie Chen To Star in CBS 'View'-Like Show for Moms

What do you get when you throw a real-life lesbian Darlene Conner, the wife of CBS' head honcho, a plastic surgery friendly former soap star and a 'Real Housewife of New York City' together on a couch with baby shower cake and a mic? A CBS version of 'The View' geared toward moms of course! Other names being tossed around for the project are Lisa Rinna and the currently pregnant 'Real Housewife of New York City' Bethenny Frankel.

What do you get when you throw a real-life lesbian Darlene Conner (because the character was hopelessly straight), the wife of CBS' head honcho, a plastic surgery friendly former soap star and a Real Housewife of New York City together on a couch with baby shower cake and a mic? A CBS version of The View geared toward moms of course!

Out lesbian and mom, who literally grew up on Rosanne, Sara Gilbert, is slated to begin filming the daytime chat fest for CBS in May. Joining Gilbert on the mom couch is journalist Julie Chen (who happens to be married to CBS President Les Moonves), according to the New York Post.

"It's a daytime panel show to take on The View, targeted at women with children and hosted by celebrities, journalists and regular moms. A pilot will be shot in early May."

Other names being tossed around for the project are Lisa Rinna and the currently pregnant Real Housewife of New York City Bethenny Frankel.
