Angel Haze Confirms In No Uncertain Terms that She and Ireland Baldwin Are Dating

If there was any doubt about Angel and Ireland dating Angel clears it all up.

Out rapper Angel Haze and Ireland Baldwin (daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger) have been rumored to be in a relationship since Ireland Instagrammed a pic of the two of them in a lip lock on May 5. Friends kiss on the lips to celebrate Cinco de Mayo right? Well no, and Angel expounds on that in a new interview with The Independent that absolutely confirms her relationship with Ireland.

Essentially, Angel’s had it with the media belittling their relationship by turning it into something cute to “aw” at. 22-year-old Angel asserts that the media has given positive attention to her relationship with Ireland because they are women, as opposed to how the media might react to men dating, but she doesn’t appreciate that the attention has been cutesy.

“The media are like, ‘Oh they’re so cute, they’re best friends’. An interracial gay couple, I mean that’s just weird for America right now,” Angel told The Independent.

She goes on to really clear up any confusion about her relationship with Ireland. “We fuck and friends don’t fuck. I have never fucked one of my friends,” Angel says in no uncertain terms.

The pair met at New York Fashion week via Ireland’s cousin, and hit it off. They began dating several months later, Angel tells The Independent.

As a refreshing antidote to women who eschew the “F” word (feminist), when asked if she is one Angel replies:

“Sometimes. When I see a woman under fire just for being a woman, when a woman is told she can’t do something because she’s a woman… That’s dumb to me. That’s when I become the most radical feminist you’ll ever see, I’m willing to chew of the limbs of you and your family just to regain equality.”

She goes on to say very honestly that she’s mainly a narcissist who cares about things as an individual rather than “group-oriented” issues.
