1. The male lead is just... lacking.

"We've had a note from the network... They love Dana, think she's hilarious, but 52% of our audience is like male, so they want to beef up Dan's character."

2. But he's a bit of a sexpot.

"I could find Dan a hobby... It's in my pants! Ha ha ha!"

3. OMG let's make a fool of him.
