Ricky Martin Lets Loose On Yacht Days After Divorce Announcement
The "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer looks yummy soaking up the sun in the Mediterranean.
Ricky Martin is already having fun in the sun post divorce!
Less than a week after announcing his split from husband Jwan Yosef, the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer took to the high seas to enjoy a vacay with his kids in the French Riviera.
Martin posted a video on Instagram of himself and his two twin boys enjoying life on a yacht in the Mediterranean.
In the video, the pop star can be seen shirtless, showing off his amazing abs, and pecs, and…well, everything is pretty great! Martin’s 14-year-old twin sons, Matteo and Valentino also joined him for some fun in the sun. He captioned the fun-loving video, “Bonding time w the twins, before the show tonight.”
But it’s not all fun and games for the 51-year-old singer who is about to start a series of shows where he’ll be accompanied by symphonic orchestras and in October he’ll kick off “The Trilogy Tour” where he’ll be performing in venues across the U.S. alongside Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull.
Martin and Yosef announced they were calling it quits after six years of marriage via a joint statement posted to Instagram on July 6.
“For some time, we have considered transforming our relationship,” the statement reads, “and it is after careful consideration that we have decided to end our marriage with love, respect, and dignity for our children and honoring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years.”
The news came as a shock to fans who have been invested in the couple’s relationship since they started dating in 2015. The Grammy winner welcomed his twin boys via surrogacy prior to his relationship with Yosef, but the pair share two children (daughter Lucia, 4, and son Renn, 3) who they will continue to share custody of.
“Our greatest desire now is to continue having a healthy family dynamic, and a relationship centered on peace and friendship to continue the joint upbringing of our children, preserving the respect and love we have for each other,” the statement continued.
