The star of Los Espookys is coming back to HBO for a new project.
He’s back!
Despite the recent cancelation of Los Espookys, HBO is wasting no time bringing back Julio Torres to the network.
Torres is credited as the creator, writer, director, executive producer, and star of this brand-new series, which is currently under the working title of Little Films. The show will encompass six half-hour episodes and is set to begin production in February 2023.
The logline for Little Films reads, “Julio tells the tale of when he lost a little golden oyster. The people he encounters as he searches for it, and the musings he has along the way, become points of departure for introspective, often eerie comedic stories about outsiders navigating an increasingly corporate and rapidly dysfunctional New York City.”
For the time being, fans will have to wait for further details on Torres’ brand-new show. Alas, it is absolutely exciting to know that the comedian will be back on HBO very soon.
We stan Julio Torres and can’t wait to watch Little Films once it premieres!
