7 Reasons a Hawkgirl Spin-Off Show Would Give Us Life

With bad-ass female TV characters carving their way through the ratings (Agent Carter, Orphan Black, The 100, just to name a few), it should come as no surprise that The CW is considering a spin-off of their other spin-off, Legends of Tomorrow, featuring none other than Hawkgirl. Starring the gorgeous Ciara Renée, here are a few reasons this show needs to happen:

1. More diversity

It's about time our TV shows reflect the wonderfully diverse world we live in. The CW has proved that they're dedicated to portraying a varied cast of characters, including a range of races, sexualities and everything in between. Kudos to you!

2. More superheroes

Sure, we have Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Gotham, Supergirl, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, Daredevil ... (jeez, ok, there's a lot), but this is the golden age of TV, and if showrunners can tell a compelling story and include some kick-ass superheroes, why the hell not?!

3. Ciara Renée

'Nuf said.

4. The Halloween costumes will be on point.

Tired of seeing sexy [insert animal/profession here] on Halloween? Let's get some Hawkgirls out there!

5. She's sassy AF.

Yaaas!

6. She's one of the only people who can throw shade at Batman.

Only Hawkgirl could get away with that. 

7. She's DTF and not the least bit ashamed.
