PHOTOS: Bidding Farewell to LA's Last Lesbian Bar

This weekend during Los Angeles’ annual Pride festival the city of West Hollywood, and the greater Los Angeles area, bid farewell to The Palms, its last lesbian bar (that we are aware of). For nearly half a century many a thirsty lesbian, including the likes of Ellen DeGeneres and Melissa Etheridge, wet her whistle at the hole-in-the-wall at 8572 Santa Monica Blvd.

Help us in saying farewell to the beloved, if not wonderfully divey, LA institution.
