Last night at the 89th Academy Awards, we all bared witness to what is sure to become one of the gratest live television flubs in history. Presenters of the Best Picture category, Warren Beatty and Faye Dunway pronounced La La Land as the year's champion, but following momentary confusion (as Best Director winner Damien Chazelle and cast took to the stage) it was revealed that Beatty and Faye had mistakenly named the winner proceeding to correct their mistake and name Moonlight Best Picture winner of the year.
As is to be expected, the rest of the world couldn't handle the shock and surprise of Beatty's mistake, including several celebs and Oscar attendees.
