Famously Out Lesbian Rachel Maddow Battled Swine Flu!

A bespectacled, not-so-made-up Rachel Maddow graced Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Monday, casually chatting about her recent bout with swine flu, which caused her to miss a week of her breakout news program on MSNBC. One of television's most famous lesbians spilled that she and her partner Susan Mikula hit up a shooting range for their first date. Take that Sarah Palin!

A bespectacled, not-so-made-up Rachel Maddow graced Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Monday, casually chatting about her recent bout with swine flu, which caused her to miss a week of her breakout news program on MSNBC.

One of television's most famous lesbians - who says she doesn't own a television -- regaled a fairly laconic Fallon with tales of passing her time out with swine flu by reading comic books about Palestine and Sarajevo.

Maddow also spilled that she and her partner Susan Mikula hit up a shooting range for their first date! Take that Sarah Palin!
