Watch Rihanna Accept Harvard's Humanitarian of the Year Award

We can't think of a more deserving person!

Last night, Harvard University's Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations awarded pop icon Rihanna with their Humanitarian of the Year award, and in true RiRi fashion, her speech was of legendary proportions.

All silliness aside, Harvard couldn't have picked a better person for this year's honor. As BuzzFeed points out, the "Work" singer has been a longtime ally, activist, and advocate for many causes, including (but not limited to) global health, education, and women's rights.

If there's ever been a person who uses their spotlight and their platform for good and to help people and inspire others, it's definitely Queen Rih!

Watch Harvard's entire Humanitarian of the Year ceremony in the video below (Rihanna's honors starts at around the 36:00 mark).
