25 Times The Good Wife's Kalinda and Alicia Were the Best Couple on Television

The one Alicia should have chosen...

Not only is The Good Wife season six finale upon us, but so too is Archie Panjabi's final episode. Fans of CBS's critically acclaimed legal, political, and family drama starring Julianna Margulies as a wife and erstwhile attorney who battles back from her husband's political scandal to become a formidable opponent in the court room, fell in love with the leather skirt and boot-clad, badass, bisexual investigator Kalinda Sharma in the pilot. And that love affair has remained intact, even through a couple of questionable story arcs for her.

Kalinda's had her share of love interests during her tenure, often using sex and/or witholding as a weapon to gain information (her soft spots for Cary and FBI agent Lana aside), and Alicia struggled between choosing Peter and Will for seasons... But early on, the heart and soul of the show was the abiding friendship and undeniable chemistry between Kalinda and Alicia (before it all blew up). They laughed, they they solved cases togehter, they slammed tequila, ate popcorn, and drank beer.

What began as a small ode to Kalinda ended up as an unabashed shipping post to Kalinda and Alicia. Here are 25 times they were the best.

1. The time Alicia was relieved to see Kalinda at her door.

2. The time Kalinda made Alicia swivel like this.

3. This time, when they bellied up to the bar together and the generally laconic Kalinda wanted to know what was going on.

4. The time Kalinda stopped everything to answer Alicia's call.

5. When Kalinda assured Alicia in court with just a look and we knew Alicia would win.

6. The time Kalinda wore this amazing outfit to court and none of us, not even Alicia, could take our eyes off of her.

7. How about this time -- when Kalinda made Alicia smile like this during a walk and talk.

8. Or when Kalinda's espousing her philosophy made Alicia crack up.

9. THIS time! When they slammed tequila like ballers.

10. Here, when they drank beer in bed together to help get them through a case?

11. Or this, when Kalinda looked at Alicia this way because she missed her.

12. This time, when Kalinda let Alicia know she was special.

13. Here, when Kalinda gave a knowing look to Alicia in court.

14. This very magic moment when Alicia held Kalinda's hand and pulled her through the bar.

15. Here, where they proved they were just regular girls eating popcorn and drinking beer together.

16. Or here, when Alicia ignored her call because it interrupted time with Kalinda.

17. This time when Kalinda clearly had advice for Alicia.

18. Here, when Alicia invited a forlorn Kalinda to sit beside her.

19. And shortly after, when Alicia asked if Kalinda was gay.

20. The time when Alicia made Kalinda smile more than we've ever seen her smile.

21. Here, when they had a very Grey's Anatomy elevator moment.

22. This time, when they clearly got a little blitzed together.

23. The time Kalinda looked at Alicia this way.

24. The time they walked outside looking amazing together.

25. The time they sort of made up and we realized we missed them too.
