Is this the best promo Saturday Night Live has ever released? Yes.

If the promo for Aubrey Plaza’s turn at hosting Saturday Night Live is indicative of what’s to come, the episode itself might actually break us.

The Ingrid Goes West star has been gearing up for the gig this week, previously admitting to Jimmy Fallon that she previously auditioned for the show herself with a variety of impressions.

All her hard work came into play for the promo released on Wednesday.

In it, Plaza praises cast member Chloe Fineman’s impressions, but warns her she’s not the only one skilled at imitating famous personalities.

“You’re going to love this one,” she says, before diving into a deep cut monologue from Marcia Gay Harden in the 2000 film Pollock.

Fineman’s concern that Plaza’s impression might be a little too “intense” for Saturday Night Live only leads the latter further down the rabbit hole with her slap-happy take on Annette Bening in American Beauty.

Honestly, all of that alone is enough to convince us that this isn’t an episode to miss, but for whatever reason, the promo culminates in Plaza and Fineman furiously making out. So…is it Saturday yet??
