It was a thing of beauty to see all of the diverse women of OITNB nab their award!

The Screen Actors Guild Awards proved to be a big night for the cast of Orange Is the New Black, and more specifically for Uzo Aduba, who won the award for Female Actor In a Comedy Series for her inspired portrayal of the beloved Crazy Eyes.

Uzo picked up the first award of the evening, delivering an emotional speech that made the audience nod with approval. Later, the cast picked up the SAG for Outstanding Performance By an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, and took to the stage en masse. The sight of all those elated, beautiful women (and a few men) being honored for their work was also a truly moving moment. The cast of the Orange Is the New Black is a complete antidote to the straight, white, male Academy Awards nominees this year, proving that TV is doing is starting to get it right while the movies are seriously lagging in diversity. Here are a few choice pics of the OITNB cast at the awards!

Uzo could do bicep curls with her two SAGS!

Kimiko Glenn, Emma Myles, Taryn Manning, Laura Gomez, and Lea DeLaria are all smiles!
