Chelsea Clinton: Smart, Gorgeous and Electable?

Not only did Chelsea Clinton inherit her parents good looks and high intellect, she just might have inherited their keen political skills. As the former First Daughter works on earning her Ph.D. from NYU in Public Policy, some say she is also considering a congressional run in New York's 18th district, close to the Clinton's home in Chappaqua.

As the former First Daughter works on earning her Ph.D. from NYU in Public Policy, some say she is also considering a congressional run in New York's 18th district, close to the Clinton's home in Chappaqua. According to Jezebel, Rep. Nita Lowey may be considering retiring, and that the 31-year-old Chelsea Clinton has expressed some interest in the seat.

A family friend told Politico, "She's like her parents — she's a wonk. But she also is personable and savvy and she certainly knows the life, and she knows the liabilities. I would hope that she is coming into a phase where she realizes that she has her parents' motivation to make things better."

Still, Clinton spokesman Matt McKenna said the rumors are untrue.

The youngest Clinton campaigned for her mother during Hillary's Senate and Presidential runs. After earning her bachelor's degree at Stanford University, she completed graduate work at Oxford and Columbia University. She was also hired to work at a New York hedge fund in 2006, and married her husband, an investment banker, in 2010.
