Since Beyoncé released Lemonade a year and half ago, she’s been pretty busy with her new baby twins. But it turns out, according to Michel Gondry, there’s another Beyoncé video project just lying around on some hard drive somewhere, waiting to be released at any damn time she pleases.
Gondry has directed a ton of music videos, including the White Stripes iconic Fell in Love with a Girl and Björk's Crystalline. He’s even directed a few box office hits, including Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
The director told the Canadian Newspaper, La Presse, that he shot this music video with Beyoncé. He went on to explain it hasn’t been released because of that whole "giving birth to twins" thing. He then concluded that the finished product is "very, very good." I don’t know if he thought we were skeptical that it wouldn’t be good, or who that comment was really for, but yes, obviously, we’re sure it’s fucking great.
Hopefully, Beyoncé will release the video soon, as God only knows we could use a little more Queen B in our lives right now.
But in the meantime, satiate your Bey craving with this old classic.
