'The Perfect Family' Exclusive Clip: Emily Deschanel and Angelique Cabral, 'Lunch Date' - Watch

Emily Deschanel and Angelique Cabral play an engaged lesbian couple in the film festival hit The Perfect Family, which drops in theaters May 5. The highly anticipated film stars Kathleen Turner as a devout Catholic mom vying for Catholic Woman of the Year with her arch nemesis played by Sharon Lawrence. But there’s one little problem --Turner’s character Eileen’s family must be vetted in order for her to land the title.

Emily Deschanel and Angelique Cabral play an engaged lesbian couple in the film festival hit The Perfect Family, which drops in theaters May 4. The highly anticipated film stars Kathleen Turner as a devout Catholic mom vying for Catholic Woman of the Year with her arch nemesis played by Sharon Lawrence.  But there’s one little problem --Turner’s character Eileen’s family must be vetted in order for her to land the title.

If a lesbian daughter weren't enough to hinder her shot at the prize Eileen’s wayward son, played by Jason Ritter, and alcoholic husband, add to her woes.

In this exclusive clip from the film Deschanel’s Shannon and Cabral’s Angela discuss their upcoming wedding. It turns out Angela’s mom is highly supportive of their relationship while Shannon has yet to come out to her mom.
