Out lesbian and new Saturday Night Live cast member Kate McKinnon took on the role of Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney's wife, Ann. The real Ann Romney snapped at reporters last week, telling critics of her husband's presidential campaign, "Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring," said Romney.

McKinnon nailed her impression of Romney, arguably one of the funniest moments in the hour-long episode, which featured no shortage of election jokes. Right down to the plastered-on smile, unblinking, wide eyes, and aw-shucks heartland accent, McKinnon was channelling the prospective first lady.

Although, admittedly, McKinnon might have been a little more honest than Romney when she pointed out the gap in celebrity endorsement of the respective political parties.

"If you're a Democrat, you get to eat with cool people like George Clooney," said McKinnon as Romney. "If you're a Republican, you get to shake Jon Voight's cold lizard hand."
