It’s a new year, and while that means a time of hope, change and resolution for many, but for celebrity shippers and geeks like me it marks the start of the most glamorous, wonderfully self-aggrandizing time of the year – Awards Show Season!

And this year I couldn’t be more excited about awards season’s kick-off with comedy divas Amy Poehler and Tina Fey pairing to host the Golden Globes on January 13.  The ostensible queens of comedy have appeared in a couple of promos already, but now they’ve donned Chuck Taylors for a promo shot that proves they’re just regular girls in gowns. There is nothing like a smart, funny girl in a gold lamé gown and Chucks!

Here are Amy and Tina looking adorable in Converse!
