Many typical, sweet, and modest LGBT people have gone to gay bars hoping for a nice, peaceful night out. Gay bars are our sanctuaries and a place where we can feel totally safe as well as front and center. In this context, it's easy to understand why we tend to get annoyed when straight people (who are welcome to join us so long as they understand the rules) don't respect queer culture and social etiquette while in a gay space.
Illustrating this topic is the humourous, tea-spilling, shade-fanning Michael Henry in his latest video focusing on this particular pressure point in the gay community.
