In a world where the strangers on the street make you feel uneasy, where you're always checking your back to see if homophobes are lurking right behind you, one sketch tackles a new concept in the horror genre: slasher killers that are totally against committing hate crimes.
Sketch comedy brand Enemies of Dorothy just recently released a new video entitled "Social Justice Strangers," paying tribute to the cult-classic horror franchise The Strangers (whose latest installment, The Strangers: Prey at Night, is out in theaters now).
But in the Enemies of Dorothy version, the maniacs terrorizing a young, gay couple in their home are a hopelessly conflicted about potentially committing a hate crime and being likened to Vice President Mike Pence (a man who President Donald Trump recently joked wanted to "hang all gay people").
As you can see, slashers are people (with very progressive tactics) too!
