On Monday, October 2nd, renowned drag performer and makeup artist Raja took to Instagram to share a now-deleted post detailing a distressing incident at a restaurant located within the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Arizona.

In her post, Raja accused a staff member of the restaurant of subjecting her to public humiliation by wrongly accusing her of stealing a wine glass and demanding its return. She expressed her disappointment at the mistreatment she endured while traveling, emphasizing that such behavior was unacceptable.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Raja vented, "Yo, I got a burger and wine for almost $60, including a tip for this a**hole, and this dude followed me to my gate accusing me of stealing a wine glass. What the actual f**k?”

The incident did not end with the Instagram post; Raja also shared a Google review detailing her ordeal. However, this review also appears to have been subsequently deleted. She recounted how the staff member persisted in his accusations, even approaching her gate and further embarrassing her in front of fellow travelers.

Later that day, Raja posted a follow-up statement on Instagram, indicating that she had since spoken with the restaurant, received an apology, and decided to remove her original post.

While the matter seemed resolved, Raja's fellow Drag Race stars and fans added their own colorful commentary to the Instagram post, reveling in the drama. Some couldn't help but poke fun at the absurdity of the wine glass accusation, with Canada's Drag Race host Brook Lynn Hytes playfully musing, "I’m still not over thinking you stole a wine glass."

In the world of Drag Race, Raja is a notable figure, having won the third season in 2011 and maintaining a strong fan base through her involvement in the World of Wonder web show RuPaul’s Drag Race Fashion Photo RuView. She also made a return to the franchise in 2022 for All Stars 7, where she earned the title of Queen of She Done Already Done Had Herses.
