“This job isn’t just glitter and glamour. It’s work, too.”
We finally have the dazzling first trailer of Netflix’s Glamorous, starring Kim Cattrall and Miss Benny in the lead roles. Cattrall plays legendary makeup mogul Madolyn Addison, while Benny portrays her gender-nonconforming new assistant, Marco Mejia.
The cast of Glamorous also features Zane Phillips, Jade Payton, Michael Hsu Rosen, Ayesha Harris, and Graham Parkhurst, among others. The show was created by Jordon Nardino, best known for his work on Star Trek: Discovery, Smash, and Quantico.
You can watch the full Glamorous trailer below.
Netflix’s official synopsis for the series reads, “Glamorous tells the story of Marco Mejia, a young gender non-conforming queer man whose life seems to be stuck in place until he lands a job working for legendary makeup mogul Madolyn Addison. It’s Marco’s first chance to figure out what he wants out of life, who he actually is, and what it really means for him to be queer.”
This new trailer comes on the heels of Cattrall announcing that she’ll reprise her Sex and the City role of Samantha Jones on the sequel series And Just Like That. Unlike that upcoming cameo, however, Cattrall is a main cast member on Glamorous.
We couldn’t be more excited for this new LGBTQ+ series on Netflix!
Glamorous premieres June 22 on Netflix.
