Drew Barrymore to Direct 'Twilight' Sequel?

With the mega-success of this year's Twilight, the company that produced it, Summit Entertainment, is searching for the right to director to helm the highly anticipated follow-up and Drew Barrymore is among the contenders for the job, Entertainment Weeklyreported.

Barrymore, who's famously starred and produced the Charlie's Angels' franchise, is in post-production on her directorial debut, Whip It, which stars Juno break-out phenomenon Ellen Page as small-town Texas beauty queen who leaves that life behind to join the roller derby.

Thirteen director Catherine Hardwicke helmed the first Twilight film.

Summit Entertainment and Barrymore's reps declined to comment on the rumor.
