Jessica Capshaw's Pregnancy Will Not Be Written in to Grey's Tweets Shonda Rhimes

Fans of Grey’s Anatomy’s Callie and Arizona, arguably the most adorable lesbian doctor couple on television, should not expect that Jessica Capshaw’s (Arizona’s) real-life pregnancy will lead to a second baby in the Calzona family, so Tweeted Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes.

Fans of Grey’s Anatomy’s Callie and Arizona, arguably the most adorable doctor couple on television, should not expect that Jessica Capshaw’s (Arizona’s) real-life pregnancy will lead to a second baby in the Calzona family, so Tweeted Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes, according to AfterEllen.

Capshaw Tweeted about her pregnancy on Tuesday that she and her husband Christopher Gavigan were expecting their third child. “"It is with profound happiness and sheer delight that Christopher Gavigan and I can say that another sweet Gavigan baby is on the way!" Capshaw wrote.

But that Tweet got Calzona’s fans’ minds wandering, and it wasn’t long before the blogosphere was rife with possible plot lines involving Capshaw’s pregnancy.

Never fear however because Rhimes weighed in on Twitter to say that Capshaw is already showing and that the pregnancy will not be written in to the show.

“Gotten a lot of tweets about this. So here's the word: first of all, she's not pregnant next season, she's pregnant this season. In fact, she's already showing -- our DP and costume designer are just very good at their jobs so you all haven't noticed it yet,” Rhimes Tweeted to quell the rumors.

“Arizona's not gonna be pregnant and I think (hope, pray) the schedule will work out so Capshaw won't even miss an episode. Never fear, Calzonas -- I GOT YOU!” Rhimes added.
