Don't forgot to tell us some of your favorites, or any we have missed on this list or the original (link above).
Tipping the Velvet (2002) - Nan and Diana
Back in the ‘90s it was tough to find a lesbian who hadn’t earmarked just about every torrid or erotic scene in Sarah Waters ‘turn of the last century’ novel Tipping the Velvet, about male impersonators in 1890’s London. And then, the BBC made a movie out of it! In this, the famous dildo scene, Nan (Rachael Stirling) pleases her new sugar mama Diana (Anna Chancellor). Pre-L Word it really was shocking to see something this suggestive on TV.
Desert Hearts (1985) - Cay and Viv
Director Donna Deitch's Desert Hearts, starring Helen Shaver and Patricia Charbonneu, is pretty much the gold standard for lesbian-themed films. It was one of the first films for which one of the lesbian characters didn't die or end up married to a man. And, the sex scene is arty, sensual and believable. This particular YouTuber gets extra lez points for cueing up the video to Mary Chapin Carpenter and Shawn Colvin's "One Cool Remove."

Lost and Delirious (2001) - Paulie and Tori
Canadian director Lea Pool dives into teen angst and first lesbian love in a boarding school setting. Brooding Paulie and her popular roomie Tori experience all of those heady, terrifying and intoxicating feelings that accompany first love The movie stars Covert Affairs’ Piper Perabo as Paulie and Mad Men’s Jessica Paré as Tori. We actually forgot there was a love scene until one of our gay guy colleagues reminded us. Bad lesbians.
Chloe (2009) - Catherine and Chloe
Amanda Seyfried stars as a Chloe, a mysterious young woman who may or may not be engaged in a torrid affair with Julianne Moore’s character Catherine’s husband (Liam Neeson) in wonder boy director Atom Egoyan’s remake of the 2003 French film Nathalie. One things for sure though, Chloe and Catherine absolutely hook-up, and all we can say is, “Damn, Julianne Moore!”
Loving Annabelle (2006) - Annabelle and Simone
When we failed to include director Katherine Brooks’ tale of a student/teacher affair in a small town boarding school in our initial round of amazing lesbian sex scenes, the commenters revolted. The film may contain controversial subject matter but Brooks and her stars Erin Kelly as Annabelle and Diane Gaidry, as her teacher Simone, nail the forbidden nature of the subject matter in a way that has clearly resonated with viewers. What is it with lesbian directors and boarding schools anyway? Oh, never mind…

Mulholland Dr. (2001) - Betty and Rita
Technically, this is a foreplay scene from David Lynch’s mind-fuck of a masterpiece. But Naomi Watts--in one of her first Hollywood roles--and Laura Harring play it with such sensuality, truth and wit that it’s as satisfying as any full-on sex scene.
But I'm a Cheerleader (1999) - Megan and Graham
Jamie Babbit’s first feature stars Natasha Lyonne as Megan, a cheerleader whose parents send her off to homosexual rehab camp. But as the camp is teeming with horny teens forced to subvert their urges, things rise to the surface once the last “Kumbaya” has been sung. Megan falls for bad girl Graham (Clea DuVall), and the steal off to seal the deal.
Frida (2002) - Frida and "Paris Chanteuse"
Frida Kahlo took a lot of lovers, at least according to Julie Taymor’s 2002 biopic that starred Salma Hayek as the titular character. While Hayek’s Frida shares a steamy tango with Ashley Judd’s character, there’s just one lesbian sex scene in the film, and it's not with Judd but with Karine Plantadit. It’s brief, but it’s pretty breathtaking. Here’s Frida with the character simply referred to on IMDb as “Paris chanteuse.”

About Cherry (2012) - Margaret and Jillian
Heather Graham, who should get an award for as many times as she’s gone Sapphic on the big screen, stars as a lesbian and porn director in the indie About Cherry, which stars Ashley Hinshaw as her young porn protégé Cherry. But this scene is down-and-dirty between Graham’s Margaret and her estranged spouse Jillian (Diane Farr). Don’t look for gauzy, muted lighting and butterfly kisses here.
Henry and June (1990) - Anais and June
Maria de Medeiros (Pulp Fiction) played the queen of erotica Anaïs Nin to Fred Ward’s Henry Miller in director Philip Kaufman’s biopic. But things get really interesting when Anaïs falls for Henry’s longtime lover June (played by a very sensual Uma Thurman). It's lesbian love in a well-made costume drama (that means garters)! It doesn’t get much better than that.
Saving Face (2004)- Wil and Viv
Writer/director Alice Wu's romantic comedy, Saving Face, explores the what happens when cultural identity, secrets, and true love all come crashing together. Wilhemina Pang (Wil) is a second-generation Chinese American who's hiding her lesbian orientation from her mother — which is made much more difficult when her mother, played by the fabulous Joan Chen, suddenly moves in with her daughter. But when Wil meets Vivian, a flirtatious, outgoing dancer, the chemistry between the two is undeniable — as you'll see in the steamy scene below. You can almost cut the sexual tension between actors Michelle Krusiec and Lynn Chen with a knife.

If These Walls Could Talk 2 (2000) - Linda and Amy
HBO's Emmy-winning film follows three lesbian couples in the same house at three different points in time. Michelle Williams plays Linda, a young student who shares the house with three friends in 1972. When Linda and her roomies check out a new lesbian bar, they run into Amy (Chloe Sevigny), a hot young butch in a tie. Despite Linda's initial dismissal of Amy as not feminist enough, Linda can't deny the attraction — as is clear in the scene below, when Linda shows up at Amy's house to apologize for being, well, a jerk. On a side note, can Chloe dress like that always and forever please?
