The L Word star and veritable national treasure Cybill Shepherd is keeping busy for November sweeps!

The actress who wowed audiences early in her career with Last Picture Show and successfully moved to the small screen with Moonlighting is slated to play a motivational coach on the new comedy $#*! My Dad Says, according to TV Guide.

Cybill, an ardent ally for the LGBT community, will play Charlotte Ann Robinson, who’ll face off with William Shatner’s cantankerous Ed.

If that show isn’t up your alley, there’s other Cybill casting news that’s even easier to get behind. She’s set to play Julie Benz’s mom on the suburban family turned superhero show No Ordinary Family.

Happy Sweeps!
