Dame Helen Mirren gave a rousing and poignant speech about gender upon receiving the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment event Tuesday.

While the Oscar winner for The Queen paid homage to unsung female heroes, she also made a few well-placed swipes at the Hollywood boys’ club with a witty dick joke.

Mirren mourned the loss of careers of great actresses in Hollywood while some mediocre actors continue to garner role after role.

“Not much has changed in the canon of Hollywood filmmaking that continues to worship at the alter of the 18 to 25-year-old male and his penis… Quite small I always think,” she said making a tiny gesture with her hand.

After firing off a few statistics about wonderful women she said “How about some God-damned respect?”
