Must See Lesbian TV: Edie Falco in Season 2 of Nurse Jackie

Season 2 of Showtime's fascinating dramedy Nurse Jackie is must see lesbian TV! Why? Well, Edie Falco kills as the complex, morally ambiguos pill-addicted E.R. nurse, the suporting cast shines with equally unique female roles perfectly executed by Eve Best and Merrit Wever, AND out lesbians Liz Brixius and Linda Wallem created the hit show. Need more enticement: there is a VERY hot new lesbian couple coming soon...

Healthcare and addiction were the hot topics at a recent TV Academy panel featuring the cast and creators of Showtime’s fascinating Nurse Jackie.

Two additionally scorching items to note: stunning star Edie Falco’s lovely legs! Check out those gams:

Daaaaaaamn! Carmella Soprano was always a looker, but something about playing Nurse Jackie really must agree with her because the Emmy-winning actress was positively glowing. It could be the amazing talent that surrounds her with costars like Peter Facinelli, the refreshingly excellent Merrit Wever and the perfect Eve Best.

Or, Falco may be reveling in the delight of portraying a grippingly complex pill-popping E.R. nurse and seemingly happily married mother of two carrying out an affair with a pharmacist that feeds her Vicodins. (By the way, with that sentence you are now hip to the basic premise of season 1, though watching each episode will still be engrossing and extremely enjoyable.)

Perhaps Falco’s radiant glow comes from the collaborative environment fostered by writer/creator/exec producers, out lesbians Liz Brixius and Linda Wallem.

Whatever the compounding causes, Edie Falco is bringing down the house in season 2 of the high-drama, hilarious Nurse Jackie, kicking off Monday, March 22 night at 10 pm.

And take it from a gal who’s seen the first half a dozen awesome, gasp-inducing episodes of the new season, while season 2 has yet to yield a return of Dr. Coop’s adorable lesbian mama’s Blythe Danner and Swoozie Kurtz, you will DEFINITLEY want to be watching for elegant guest star Julia Ormond’s 3-epsidoe arc early on in the new episodes.

I don’t want to spoil it for you but the channel that gave us six sexy seasons of The L Word is bringing you a brand new hot lesbian couple to root for!
